User Experience Design

We design the appropriate user experience for your goals, following the User Centered Design (UCD) process that ensures the quality and efficiency of your products.
Our UCD process involves a set of practices, methods, and proven techniques in order to obtain an optimal interaction design.
In this iterative process three general stages are distiguished:

Stage 1: Requirement analysis and context of use

At this stage all the information about the user and his individual requirements are analyzed: tasks, goals, environment/framework. The result sets the basic use requirements for the system or product to be designed.

Stage 2: Design and prototyping

Different proposals are designed to respond to users needs, requirements and scenarios raised in stage 1. The developed prototypes cover the global aspects of UX including: graphic design, information architecture and interaction design.

Stage 3: Evaluation and tweakings

User testing and tweaking is carried out repeatedly to ensure the quality of the product. Usability evaluations are performed on the developed prototypes (either static or dynamic ones) during the whole design process.

Usability evaluations

We identify the difficulties in the usage and learning of the user interfaces and we suggest ways to improve them, ensuring greater efficiency, performance and ease of use of them.

For diagnosis we make different types of research:

• Expert assessment (heuristic analisys): The assessment is performed by an usability expert, through the analysis of the existing application or prototype available, according to guidelines and best practices in usability. The report by the expert includes recommendations and propositions for solving the difficulties encountered.

• Usability Tests (real users): The tests are carried out by the systematic observation of users performing the tasks defined for the purposes of the application in order to evaluate it. This type of testing is performed in the entire process of design, because it can be done with simple prototypes. It is highly recommended to conduct these tests in early stages, minimizing unnecessary developments and the cost of maintaining applications.
