As an axis of our development project, we signed an agreement of mutual cooperation with the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. (UNICEN), and in this way Temperies has become one of the companies associated with the Scientific and Technological Park of Tandil.
The IT Hub is a key tool to strengthen the link between the university and the company, providing infrastructure and services shared in suitable habitats for the exploitation of synergies and productive exchanges between the company and members of the University community. This interaction tends to stimulate the innovative culture and an entrepreneurial spirit within the scientific-technological area, facilitating the transference and generation of knowledge.
The IT Hub has become one of the most successful local initiatives of the past years, generating hundreds of workspaces in the over 40 national and international companies that remain associated. Since Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN) launched this IT centre at its campus in Tandil, seven years ago, more than 50 companies have linked to the software industry settled there and are working on different software developments to meet the internal and external market. Among the largest enterprises that have been drawn to the hub are IBM and Microsoft which funded the construction of a science laboratory and training programs for teachers and students.
The agreements signed by the companies with the university established the commitment to cooperate in research and technology design and joint participation in work, studies and consulting services.

One of the competitive advantages of Temperies is that the company is located in the so called "polo tecnologico" (technological pole/grid) of Universidad Nacional del Centro del Provincia de Buenos Aires. The University has several international level and first line researching institutes in software engineering
System engineering is a five year study course and in order to obtain the Bachelor's degree students must submit a thesis related to one of the researching topics of the University institutes. It is one of the most prestigious and traditional universities in the country.
Aware of the importance of providing the University with a real field for implementing new technologies, Temperies promotes job contracts, allowing employed students to complete their degree thesis led by researchers, implementing new technologies and concepts in Temperies products.
Working in this way 3 important objectives are met: research institutes transfer technology to the industry, Temperies employees who are still students at the University complete their thesis gaining practical experience in leading-edge technologies and Temperies incorporates new technologies into its products which provide a high level of international competitiveness.
Currently Temperies has projects in the areas of artificial intelligence, digital processing and data visualization.
